Bhubaneswar: The MESCO GROUP has contributed Rs 75 Lakhs to the Odisha Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, to support the people affected by the extremely severe cyclonic storm Fani that hit the state on May 3 and created havoc in more than five coastal districts.
Ms. Rita Singh, CMD , MESCO GROUP handed over the cheque to Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik at the State Secretariat on 13th May 2019, Monday afternoon.
“The MESCO STEEL stands united with the State Administration and the people of Odisha during this hour of despair. For immediate relief, we commit to contribute Rs 75 Lakhs to the Odisha Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Going forward, we also plan to provide key resources for the massive rehabilitation work underway deputing a team of electrical technicians to Cyclone affected area of Jajpur district, said MESCO CMD.
