New Delhi: JPNadda appointed #BJP’s working president, Amit Shah to remain party chief. The decision by BJP’s highest decision-making body was announced by former party president and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh after the meeting, which was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah.
Addressing the media after the party’s parliamentary board meeting at the BJP headquarters here, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said: “At the meeting today, Amit Shah said that he was unable to give enough time to the party as he was also in-charge of the Union Home Ministry. So it was decided that the party President’s post should be given to some other person.”
JP Nadda was overseeing 2014 Lok Sabha campaign from BJP headquaters. J P Nadda was incharge of Uttar Pradesh in 2019 Lok Sabha polls. JP Nadda is considered an astute election strategist like Amit Shah.
