India is expected to extend invitations to leaders of neighbouring countries, including Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming swearing-in ceremony. Modi’s BJP-led NDA secured 293 seats in the Lok Sabha polls, marking his historic third consecutive term. Invitations are likely to be sent out formally on Thursday.
