Bhubaneswar: The first ever Coir Craft Workshop was conducted at Kala Bhoomi on the 29th of September from 11AM onwards.
Using softened coconut fiber wrapped with cotton threads and ornamented with wool, the participants created their very own toy horses. Attended by children, adults and senior citizens the enthusiasm carried people through the coir craft creation.
The participants not only took home their own creations but also other coir souvenirs present with the artisans led by Mrs. Dolly Das from Sakhigopal, Puri.
