Report by Nisapati Nayak, Koraput: Council for Media and Satellite Broadcasting (CMSB), new delhi, Koraput unit organized a Condolence Meeting at Open Air Pandal, HAL Township, Sunabeda to pay Homage to our eight jawans of Odisha police were killed in a landmine blast triggered by Maoists near Mungarbhumi area on Sunki hill in Maoist-infested Koraput district on dated 01.02.2017..
One minute silence prayer was conducted and candles were lighted in
respect of the departed souls .later Among the guests General Manager
of HAL Mr.J.K Mohanty , Chairman ,SCITM , Mr Krushna Singh, Office
bearers of HAMS & HAEA , Jogeswari Behera , IIC Sunabeda Police
Station ,S.N .Panigrahi ,s.i ,sunabeda police station and Police
Officials of Semiliguda PS Babula Pradhan, Sujata Behera ,
mr.Ajay Sahu, mr.Chintamani Prusty , Anand Mouli Patnaik, mr.Vijay
Kumar Sahu ,mr.Gobinda Padhi, S.P Malakar, mr.Bhubaneswar Patnaik
and residents of HAL Township , school and colleges students ,adopted
villages, security persons , vigilance department ,semliguda press
club, Koraput media center ,Deaf association and others attended the
programme and paid floral tribute to sahid Police Personnel.
First speech was delivered by Mr. J.K. Mohanty ,general manger .While
Shaik Ibrahim co- ordinated the proceedings of the programme ,Among
others mr. Manoj kumar Das,mr. Prabhat Choudhury,mr.Susant Mallick,
mr.Venketeswar Rao ,mr.Roopa Khora cooperated in organizing the
programme.
This is first time in Koraput district that media organization pays
tribute to the sahid jawans and express his emotion towards our
martyred soldiers who gave up life for our safety .stated mr.krushna
singh ,chairman,SCITM.
General Secretary of CMSB Nishapati Nayak (alumni of VSV) proposed the vote of thanks and stated that this is possible only because of HAL
management officials like HR- dept. IR-dept, civil dept, and all
officials related to management and ex-servicemen association.
