Bhubaneswar: While city’s long wait to have a robust public transport through state-of-the art technology driven buses is about to be over with rolling out of “Mo Bus’’ service on November 6, Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT), the company to manage the show, will come up with the route network in three phases, starting the first one from the launch date.The Mo Bus Phase-I Network will be launched on November 6 with nine routes. The Mo Bus Phase-II Network will be launched from 15th November and Mo Bus Phase-III Network from 10th December. Mo Bus Phase- I NetworkSources at CRUT said the while Route Number 20 will include Master Canteen Terminal and Khurda New Bus Stand via Vani Vihar, Route Number 21 will include Master Canteen Terminal and Khurda New Bus Stand via Odisha University of Agriculture Technology. Similarly, Route Number 22 will include Master Canteen Terminal and Khurda New Bus Stand (via Jatni).Route Number 23 under Mo Bus Network Phase-I will link Master Canteen Terminal and SUM Hospital and the Route Number 24 will have Kalinga Vihar and Sai Temple. While the Route Number 25 will link Dumduma with Mancheswar, Route Number 26 will include the route between Dumduma and Chakeisiani. While the Route Number 27 will connect between Master Canteen Terminal and All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) near Sijua, Route Number 28 will link Master Canteen Terminal with Kalinga Nagar. Mo Bus Phase- II NetworkThe Mo Bus Phase-II Network will have Route Number 10 connecting Biju Patnaik International Airport (via Nandankanan) Badambadi Square (Cuttack), Route Number 11 connecting Master Canteen Terminal with Biju Patnaik Park (Cuttack) and Route Number 12 linking Sikharchandi with Lingaraj Temple. Similarly, Route No. 13 will connect Master Canteen Terminal with Patia, Route Number 14with Vani Vihar and Uttara Square and Route Number 15 will join Sikharchandi with SUM Hospital. Likewise, Route Number 16 is going to connect Biju Patnaik International Airport with SUM Hospital, Route Number 17 with Balianta and Lingaraj Temple and the Route No 18 will include a hop-on and hop-off service between Lingaraj Temple and Madhusudan Das Park, Pokhariput.The Mo Bus Phase-III Network, likely to be launched on December 10 and for it the route planning is under way. Sources also added that while 100 buses will be utilised for the Mo Bus Phase-I Network, another 100 buses are in for Mo Bus Phase-II Network routes. Similarly, 89 refurbished buses from the older fleet will be used for the Mo Bus Phase-III Network.
