Challenge for Odisha Police: Maoist poster surfaces in Muniguda

Report by Badal Tah, Rayagada : Maoist banners, posters and leaflets have been found near Deokupuli chowk under Muniguda Police Station. Though the police lately took these out from the place as wires suspected to be connected to detonators and mines, this has become a real challenge for the police.

The Maoist posters and banners put up by CPI(Maoist), Odisha State Committee for the first time at this junction have resisted fascism in the government and demanded to take out the CRPF camp from Trilochanpur gram panchayat office and to stop killing Maoist revolutionaries in fake encounters. They have requested to make Odisha and Chhatisgarh bandh on October 25. The posters also demanded to contain atrocities in Kashmir and Lanjigarh midnight arrests.

Police has kept vigil on the situation and the investigation is under process.
