Bhubaneswar: The Budget Session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly (OLA) would begin from March 20, according to a proposal of the Assembly Secretariat submitted to the State Government.
The session would be held in two phases, first for 10 working days from March 20 to 31 and, second for 21 working days from April 11 to May 5.
Governor Dr SC Jamir would address the Assembly on the first day on March 21. The next two days have been scheduled for holding discussions on the Governor’s speech.
An Appropriation Bill of a Budge of four months would be brought on March 21. After holding discussions with all departments, the Annual Budget would be presented in the Assembly on April 30, according to information.
