Paralakhemundi: On the occasion of National Integration Day with the coordination of Zilla Saaksharata Samiti, Gajapati & Red cross unit of Govt. Women’s College Paralakhemundi; celebrated “Bidya Bandhan” Program, with the inmates of Paralakhemundi Sub-jail. With the initiation of Rabindranath Roula, Superintendent of the jail the program organised, where Bhagabat Padhi, former Director of State Resource Centre for Adults &:Continuing Education, Rayagada presided. Bikash Chandra Sahu, Sub-jailor; MKhageswar Rao, Addl Block Education Officer; TKrishna Rap, CRCC; BNBebarta, State Awarded teacher; Santoshini Padhi Redcross Unit Officer of Government Women’s College Paralakhemundi & her team attended the program. The dignitaries expressed their solidarity to inspire the inmates towards mainstream of education. Minimum level of reading, writing & recollection will emerge them towards their recognition on their rest of life by forgetting past misdeeds. They can well laverage with better livelihood by high thinking. Jail authority also expressed their pleasure to saturate those inmates with reading materials. As around 60 inmates earlier passed out 3rd standard stage under NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling). That will be a great impact for those new breeds who want to start their studies. Among those students of Women’s College:Summa Devi, S. Meenakshi, Ch. Sravani, Puja Mallick & A. Labanya tied Raakhee to 21 inmates with a promise to join on minimum level of education. That will enhance to join on higher studies. Rabindra Jena the staff of Sub-jail conveyed vote of thanks.
