Adani Foundation organises Mega Health Camp

Dhamra: With an aim to provide qualitative health services in the peripheral area of Dhamra Port, a mega health camp was organised by Adani Foundation in association with Rotary Charitable Cancer Trust and Apollo Hospital at Sitala Temple Ground at Karanpalli Panchayat of Bhadrak district.

Chief Executive Officer, Apollo Hospital Sri. Sudhir M. Digikar inaugurated the mega health camp by lighting the lamp.

Giving priority to primary health and to bring about health awareness on good health in the region, many expert doctors and specialists joined this camp. The villagers were provided with free diagnosis and medicines.

Basically patients’ availed treatments for various diseases along with Blood sample testing, Blood Grouping, ECG and Body Mass Index etc. In this camp treatment were provided on gynaecology, orthopaedics, paediatric, Diabetics, physiotherapy.

More than 2000 patients of the Dhamra Port peripheral villages benefited from the camp. Adani Foundation has been organising this type of health camps regularly in these areas. To provide better living standard and reliable health care services to the villagers, such initiative was taken by Adani Foundation which was praised by the local leaders and intellectuals.

Dr. Chinmaya Pani, Oncology, Dr. A K Sahu, Orthopaedics, Orthopaedics, Dr.PremanandaPatnaik, Medicine, Dr.Binod Bihari Das, Physician, Dr SouravTripathy,Dr Koustav Tiwari, Dr. Sarthak Soshan Parida and Dr.Madhumita Aaicha Physician were present and provided treatment to the villagers.

The camp was coordinated by Sri Anupam, and managed by Sri Padmanabha.

Vice President Sri Jagat Parija, Officials from CSR wing and port officials were present. Among others Karanpalli Sarapanch Babuli Sethy, volunteer Prafulla Mandal, Sapan Mandal, Krishna Mandal, Achint Barik, Panchanan Mandal, Babula Sahu, Dhanajyaya Mandal, Jaga Das and Madhu Mandal were also present.
