Bhadrak: A free health camp has been organized today for masons at Baripur, near Bhadrak, by leading cement manufacturer of the country Dalmia Bharat Cement. Local masons and there family members were offered free blood pressure, diabetes and other basic medical check-ups by experts in the camp. Over 500 masons and there family members attended the camp.
Commenting on the initiative, Indrajit Chatterjee, Executive Director – Sales & Marketing, Dalmia Cement, said, “We all know health is wealth, but still we fail to bring out time from our day-today busy schedule to take up regular health check-up. This initiative is an attempt to spread awareness about benefits of regular health check-up among the masons and provide them the facility at their door steps.”
Dalmia Cement also handed over financial support of Rs.1,00,000/- to family members of deceased mason Ramesh Behera who was insured by the company as per its operational policies.
Sakun Vaidya, GM – Technical Services and Amitav Mitra, AGM – Technical Services, attended the camp on behalf of Dalmia Cement and led talks on spreading awareness about benefits of periodic health check-up. Tushar Mohapatra, Manager – Technical Services managed the health camp.
