Mumbai: ‘In the recent past, many small budget films have created magic at the box office because of their superior storylines. On the other hand, a number of films with big names have failed miserably as they are low on content. The movie ‘Viraam’ falls in the first category as it uses fresh cinematic techniques to tell an interesting story,’ said well-known wrestler Sangram Singh who was the chief guest at the glittering music and trailer launch party of ‘Viraam’ at Flag Banquet and Restaurant in Andheri.
Viraam is produced by Hari Mehrotra under the banner of Hari Mehrotra Production and is directed by Ziaullah Khan. The story of the film revolves around a man called Abhiraj Khanna, magnificently played by well-known actor Narendra Jha. Abhiraj had lost his wife ten years earlier but he still carries her memories with him and leads a sad and lonely life. Then, accidently, a beautiful vivacious girl called Matun crosses his path and his life is changed forever. But, at the end, the things don’t turn out as Abhiraj has planned.
The event was attended by all lead actors of the movie including Narendra Jha, Urmila Mahanta, Monika Ravan, Annapurana Vitthal, Tripurari Yadav. Hari Mehrotra (producer), Aman shan (co-producer), Ziaullah Khan (director), Siddhant Madhav (music director), Tripti Sinha, Arun Singh and Amit Gupta (singers) , Abdullah Khan(writer and lyricist) Azeem Shirazi (lyricist) and Ashish Gaikar(editor) were also present on the occasion. The music is released on Red Ribbon label. The movie marketing and distribution is being handled by Media Magic.
