Paradeep: On the occasion of World Environment Day, Indian Farmers Fertilizer Coop. Ltd. (IFFCO) Paradeep Unit celebrated in its premises in presence of the senior, junior officials, workmen and IFFCO Union & IFFCO Officers’ Association on 05th June, 2019. On this occasion IFFCO employees planted saplings near Plant premises and IFFCO Road side to develop an eco-friendly green belt. Today, 6th June, 2019, 500 number of Saplings were planted of different species. This year, the Theme “Beat Air Pollution” so IFFCO is committed to meet this challenge.
On this occasion, the Sr. Genl. Manager-cum-Unit Head Sri. K J Patel spoke to the gatherings the importance of plantation and its impact on environment. He said that Tree produces oxygen and all human being require oxygen, without oxygen, the survival of life of human being is not possible; so all employees are to support for this good cause. He also announced that IFFCO is committed and targeted to plant 50,000 Saplings during this Financial Year inside the Plant and in the vicinity.
Sri J P Srivastav, JGM (EHS), Sri Gyan Chand Acharya, Gy. Genl. Manager (HR) and Shri. A K Mall, DGM (P&A) have organized the entire programme and gave Vote of Thanks to all IFFCO employees.
