Bhubaneswar: World Bank praises efforts of Odisha government to reduce poverty, infant mortality. World Bank’s Country Director, Junaid Ahmad meets Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik at the state secretariat. He praises state govt’s efforts to reduce poverty, infant mortality.

The delegation lauded the State government’s effort towards poverty alleviation and significant improvement in reducing infant mortality rate, said an official statement by the CMO.

The Global financial institution’s official expressed to extend more aid to the state government on health, livelihood mission, women empowerment and infrastructure development.
