Puri: Utkal Bipanna Sahayata Samiti, Bhubaneswar, Odisha in association with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Odisha has provided 8 different types of seva (service)such as First Aid by Dr. Anjan Kumar Sahoo and Dr. Subrat Kumar Mishra have treated more than 458 nos. of patients and distributed medicines free of cost. They were assisted by 5 nos. Pharmacists and 5 nos. of swayamsevaks, Sprinkling of Water by 20 nos. of volunteers, Distribution of Safe Drinking Water by 20 nos. of volunteers, , Stretcher Seva by 25 nos. of volunteers,, Ambulance by 8 nos. of volunteers, Ambulance Corridor by remaining volunteers, For smooth passage of the ailing pilgrims and Bed side attendant in the Hospital for the ailing patients. The seva was inaugurated on 4th morning by Sri Sunilpada Goswami, senior pracharak, Sri Gopal Prasad Mohapatra, Kshetra Karyabah, Sri Anil Kumar Mishra, Karyabah, Odisha Purva, Sri Sudarsan Das, Saha Karyabah, Odisha Purva, Sri Bipin Prasad Nanda, Prant Pracharak, Odisha Purva, Sri Srustidhar Biswal, Saha Prant Pracahrak, Odisha Purva and Sri Bipin Bihari Padhy, Vice-President, UBSS, Sri Dibakar Prasad Harichandan, Joint Secretary, UBSS were present on the occasion and narrated that SEVA is a part and parcel of RSS as well as UBSS and thanked all the 700 swayamsevaks for their voluntary participation in the Car Festival. Dr. Bana Bihari Mishra, Chief Cardiologist of KIIMS, Hospital Inaugurated the seva by lighting the lamp and also the Ambulance Seva.
Sri Dibakar Prasad Haricandan, Joint Secretary, UBSS introduced the guests and Dr. Bijaya Kumar Swain, Member, UBSS gave vote of thanks to all the participants as well as the dignitaries. Sri Rudra Narayan Mohapatra co-ordinated the entire seva during Rath Yatra.
