New Delhi: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan reviewed the status of ongoing Railway projects in Odisha including new tracks, electrification, passenger amenities and the roadmap for the future with senior Railway officials from the Railway Board, East Coast Railway and Rail Vikas Nigam Limited.
Many railway projects in the state are held up due to land acquisition and forest clearance issues. Request the Govt of Odisha to release pre-committed land for Railway projects. He stressed the need to expedite the ongoing projects and undertake expansion of railways infrastructure to support the development of Odisha.
