Union Cabinet approved the Major Ports Authority Bill to replace 1963 Act

New Delhi: Union Cabinet has approved the Major Ports Authority Bill to replace 1963 Act governing country’s 12 major ports. This will improve the efficiency of all major ports and give push to overall development of the sector. This is informed by the Union Minister Prakash Javadekar.
