New Delhi: 1,251 coronavirus positive cases in India. 32 deaths have been reported so far. This is confirmed by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Increase of 227 COVID19 cases in the last 24 hours, the largest spike in a day.
At least 25 fresh cases were reported from Delhi alone, taking the national capital’s tally to 97, as per the Delhi Health Department.
Although the Union Health Ministry on Monday evening clarified that the country is still in the ‘local transmission’ stage but Monday saw India registering the maximum number of cases in 24 hours since the first confirmed positive case on January 30, 2020.
