Cuttack : Sri Sri University, Bidyadharpur Arilo, Cuttack organized a blood donation camp with the advice of Vice Chancellor Prof. Ajay Kumar Singh, Director Operations Shri Narendra Lamba, DSA and Chief Warden Capt. Chandra Shekhar Panda, Head PR and CSO Dr Vijaya Lakshmi Mohanty, Faculty mentors of Orion Mr Kaushal K. Borisagar, Mr Satyajeet Arya and the Team Orion of the University
The event was held in a successful manner with selfless and enthusiastic participation of students and faculty. A total number of 164 units of blood were collected during the day-long event.
Some of the donors from the Faculty and students who not only donated blood but also contributed in organising the event include, Prof Muniswar Rai, Dr Richa Baghel, Shri Ram Vyas, Shri Krishna Ashrita Patnaik, Shri Aviral Khosla, Shri Jay Patel, Shri Karan Kundu, Shri Chaitanya Ram Dumbhare, Dr Tanushree Agarwal, Shri Ronak Shah, Shri Ashutosh Nayak, Ms Divya Thakur, Ms Kanchan Agrawal, Shri Abhishek Das, Shri Ashutosh Swain, Shri Biswaranjan Sahoo, Shri Subash Ku. Panda, Shri Jachak Gupta, Ms Lusna Maheshwari, Shri Aviraj Kaushik, Shri Kan Agrawal, Ms. Shweta Kabi etc. to name a few.
The blood was collected by Dr. Jagannath Sahoo, Dr. Ramachandra Khatua, Dr. Niranjan Pattnaik, Dr. Shiv Shankar Pattnaik, Dr. Sadananda Jena, Dr. Alok Basantara of SCB Blood bank. It was organised in collaboration with the AMA Odisha, Sambad.
