Bhubaneswar : SPIC MACAY Bhubaneswar chapter is putting up an unique effort in the form of a Classical Music Overnight featuring the doyens of Indian Classical Music – Padma Bhushan Dr.L.Subramaniam (Violin), VidushiMalavikaSarukkai (Bharatnatyam), VidushiManjushaPatil (Hindustani Vocal), UstadNishat Khan (Sitar) and PadmashriUstadWasifuddinDagar (Dhrupad) on October 28th at 7:15 pm.
This is the 3rd year Spic Macay is doing the Classical Overnight ‘Yamini’ in Bhubaneswar which has been designed carefully to start in the evening and conclude in the early morning around the ‘Brahma Muhurt’ can give the participants a spiritual experience that is the essence of our classical music tradition. This is the pinnacle of all SPIC MACAY experience that will go a long way in transforming our youth and strengthen the movement in Odisha.
This year the Classical Overnight ‘Yamini’ will be held in Institute of Physics on 28th of October 2017 and will try to inspire audience drawn from SPIC MACAY chapters in schools and colleges in and around Bhubaneswar along with teachers. So all the Principals and head of the institutions of Bhubaneswar are requested to send their students to witness the rare programme.
