Angul: Smash 2019, the mega Volleyball tournament organised by Jindal Officers Club (JOC) of Jindal Steel & Power Ltd (JSPL) at Sports Arena, Jindal Nagar was concluded on December 16th, evening. Team Royal Dynamos, comprising of players from HR, Central Utility, IR, ED Office and various other departments won the Trophy by defeating Team Extreme, comprising of players from SMS, DRI, LDP, Oxygen Plant and BOF in 2 – 1 sets in an exciting final match, held under floodlight.
Mr. Pankaj Gautam, COO-Odisha Business and Mr. Suresh Kumar, ED-Maintenance witnessed the final match as Chief-Guest and Guest-of-Honor respectively and presented the trophies to the winning and runners up team. Mr. Damodar Mittal,Head – Iron Making & General Secretary JOC; Mr. A.N. Tiwari, Head-CGP and Mr. Alok Malhotra,Head-HR&ES, various other department heads, employees and spectators from Jindal Nagar township were present on the occasion.
Mr. Priyabrata of Extreme team won the Best Smasher trophy while Mr. Amar of Royal Dynamos received the Player of the tournament trophy.
