Bhubaneswar : Amid corona scare and extended lockdown in state, the Sital Sasthi festival of Lord Lingaraj in capital city will be celebrated under strict observance of government laid Covid norms as well as remain a low key affair on June 16 .
As per reports, BMC has directed the the Lingaraj Temple Administration to submit a list of servitors attending the rituals of Sital Sasthi festival i.e. marriage of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati to held in the inside Kedar Gouri Temple.
Besides, to ensure strict adherence of Covid norms and smooth conduct of the festival Bhubaneswar DCP will take charge of the security arrangement and on priority basis all servitors and police officials attensding event have to undergo Covid RT-PCR test.
