Report by Kahnu Nanda, JAGATSINGHPUR : Few SHGs under Purana Odapada Panchayat in Raghunathpur block celebrated its annual meet on Saturday, Seeds head Er Satyabrata Bai, DM, NABARD Biswa Bhusan Mohanty attended the event as chief guests accompanied by CDVO Dr Prabhat Kumar Sahoo, Jibika mission BPM Kalpana Dalei, BLCs Minarani Das, Siba Kalyana Mohanty and Goutam Mohanty.
Speaking on the occasion attending guests praised the activities of host SHGs with regards to fulfil objectives of mission Shakti and to provide livelihood support to women through various income generating activities. The endeavor of SHGs generating incomes from milk products as curd, Ghee, Khua and cattle feeds, fertilizer from cow dong were discussed at the meeting and the joining guests admired it.
The SHGs members as Mrunmayee Panda, Bandita Sarangi, Sanjukta Das, Madhusmita Parida, Namita Sahoo, Amita Nayak, Basanti Sahoo spoke on the occasion.
