Several parts of Odisha experienced winter chill; thick blanket of fog descended in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack

Bhubaneswar: Several parts of the State had experienced the winter chill with the minimum temperature dropping by two to three degrees Celsius than the normal temperature. Normal life particularly in Boudh, Sundargarh and Kandhamal districts was also crippled due to the extreme cold wave conditions for the last couple of days.

A thick blanket of fog descended on the twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar on Monday, hitting normal life in the early hours. Life here was adversely affected as visibility was reduced considerably, creating problems for commuters on roads.
