SBI says no ID proof or forms required for exchanging Rs 2,000 notes of up to Rs 20,000 limit

New Delhi: The State Bank of India (SBI) on Saturday informed all its branches that customers can now exchange their Rs 2,000 denomination bank notes without obtaining any requisition slip. Further, no identity proof is required to be submitted at the time of exchange.
