Kaniha: Santosh James has taken over as Chief General Manager of NTPC Talcher Kaniha w.e.f 28.09.2018 on account of transfer of Shri Sanjeev Kishore,Executive Director to Darlipali power station.
Prior to joining at Talcher Kaniha,Shri Santosh James was the Chief General Manager,Darllipalli Super Thermal Power station,Odisha.A Mechanical Engineering Graduate from Cochin University , Cochin.Shri Santosh James joined NTPC in 1982 as 7th Batch Executive Trainee. He started his career at Ramagundam Super Thermal Power Station, Telengana. Shri James has a long stint of 36 years service in NTPC.
Shri James has served the Maharatna Company in various capacities in the field of Operation & Maintenance, FQA, Planning & System (P&S), Technical Services, Corporate Planning, Project Planning at Ramagundam ,Dadri ,Corporate Centre & Simhadri Super Thermal Power stations. He served as Head of Project at Gadawara and Darlipalli power station. Shri James is a veteran Power Professional and brings with him rich exposure in Power Sector.
