Bhubaneswar: On 17 Jun 2019, an All India Sainik Schools’ Teachers’ Workshop was inaugurated at Sainik School Bhubaneswar and it will conclude on 22 Jun 2019. Shri Samir Ranjan Dash, Hon’ble Education Minister of Odisha graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Air Marshal JN Burma, AVSM, VSM, Dr PC Agrawal, Principal, RIE, Bhubaneswar, Shri Amitabh Swain, President, Old Boys Association were the distinguished guests of honour.
There were 116 teachers from the 28 Sainik Schools in the country have participated in this workshop.
Group Captain S Dominic Rayan, Principal, Sainik School Bhubaneswar extended a warm welcome to the Chief Guest and other Guests of Honour in the presence of Wing Commander Amitabh Ranjan, Vice Principal, Commander N Santhosh Kumar, Administrative Officer, Shri B Pradhan, Senior Master and staff.
In his address to the All India Sainik Schools’ teachers’, Hon’ble Minister appealed them to teach the cadets honesty, obedience, discipline and dedication apart from teaching them School curriculum.
He expressed his happiness as Sainik School Bhubaneswar is doing well in academics and placed fourth position in CBSE Class-XII results amongst 24 Sainik Schools of the Country. The Minister has assured that Government of Odisha will extend all necessary help for the all-round development of Sainik School Bhubaneswar.
In his address he announced that the second Sainik School being established at Sambalpur will play as another milestone in providing quality education to the youth of Odisha. The total training programme was co-ordinated by Wing Commander Amitabh Ranjan and Smt Anima Nanda conducted the stage.
