Bhubaneswar : The concluding evening at the Rajarani temple witnessed scintillating performance with a Musical Ensemble by Agnimitra Behera & Group and Hindustani Vocal by Shubha Mudgal.
The first act of the evening to enthral the audience was the Musical Ensemble Shivagni by Agnimitra Behera & Group. Their presentations which consisted of hymn of shivagni set to Rag Charukeshi, Arabian night set to Rag-Vairabi, Traditional Odissi instrumental, Sound of Joy set to Rag- Kiribani and Tempest based on Rag Bakulavarana left everyone spellbounded. The presentation by Shivagni was marked by the flawless rendition and creativity in their music.
The second programme of the evening was Hindustani vocal by internationally acclaimed singer Padmashree Shubha Mudgal who regaled the audience with her mystical performances. The art connoisseurs were captivated by the superb presentation of the evening’s musical programme and were present till the end.
The dignitaries who graced the concluding evening were Madhusmita Basu, Principal AG; Shri R. P. Singh, Director, Tourism. Shri G.V.V. Sharma, Member Board of Revenue, Shri Vishal Kumar Dev, Commissioner-cum-Secretary were also present in the festival. The programme was conducted by Dr. Sangeeta Gosain and Dr. Vedula Ramalakshmi.
