Bhubaneswar: OSRTC employees have called off their strike as #Odisha government hikes salary and DA by 20 percent. This was infromed by the Commerce and Transport Minister Nrusingha Charan Sahu.
All Odisha State Road Transport Staff Association (AOSRTSA) has called for the bandh demanding fulfillment of their 5-point charter of demands that includes regularisation jobs of contractual employees, equal pay for equal work, dearness allowance at par with government employees and promotion.
It may be noted that about 400 OSRTC buses are now plying on various routes having destinations inside and outside the State. About 1,600 drivers, conductors and helpers are on job.
