Bhubaneswar: On the eve of Mahashivratri, Shree Lingaraj Temple, decked up with vivid flowers, lights as lakhs of devotees congregate to offer prayers and to have a holy “darshan” of Lord Shiva.
The ‘Mahadeepa’ of Lord Shiva is scheduled to be raised atop the Temple at 10 pm.
Ahead of Mahashivratri, flowers worth Rs 15 lakh used for decorating Lingaraj temple in Bhubaneswar; special security and parking arrangements are also in place for devotees .
