Bhubaneswar: Odisha Tourism has planned to participate in Global Travel Mart to be held in London, Singapore and Berlin including Road shows in all the major cities of the country to woo tourists, said Sri Ashok Chandra Panda, Minister, Tourism & Culture, Odisha. Addressing a Road Show organised in Mumbai today Minister Sri Panda said that number of foreign tourist footfalls to the state has grown substantially as a result of promotional initiatives and Odisha Tourism will take all possible measures to attract more tourists as well as to develop tourism infrastructure. The Road Show organised in collaboration with FICCI attracted a large number of viewers who later on took part in questionnaire. Dr Nitin B. Jawale, Director & Additional Secretary, Tourism, Odisha made a power point presentation depicting Odisha’s tourism potential along with Government’s interventions for infrastructural development in tourism sector. Sabbas Joseph, President, EEMA dna Managing Director, Wizcraft, Dr. Vithal V. Kamat, Chairman and Managing Director, Kamat Hotels, Rajan Sehgal, President India-Golf Tourism Association and Manish Ahuja, Addl. director and Head, Tourism Division, FICCI also spoke on the occasion. The show was moderated by Deepak Mukhi, head, FICCI’s Maharastra Council.
