Bhubanswar: A tableau featuring the Lingaraj Temple of Bhubaneswar and the Rukuna Rath of its deity would be showcased at the Republic Day parade in New Delhi on January 26, 2020. The Ministry of Defence has issued a letter to the State Government in this regard. Fabrication of the tableau would be carried out at the Rashtriya Rangshala Camp in New Delhi.
While January 19 has been set for completion of tableau creation, full dress rehearsal would be held on January 23.
Reports said noted sculptor Gajendra Sahu would design the tableau. During its movement, danseuses would perform Odishi on it.
