Puri: Sudam institute of international Sand Art give sand art training a group of young Canadian tourists on Saturday created sand arts on Puri sea beach in order to express their environmental concerns.
The group included 23 travellers from different towns of Canada. The tourists learned sand art during their trip and tried to send a message through their creations. The art enthusiasts were trained for three long hours before creating the sand sculptures.
The sculptures contained slogans like ‘Save Oceans, ’ ‘Save Mother Earth’ and ‘Go Green’.
Speaking on this endeavour Julie, one of the tourists, said, “This was a great experience. The earth we live on is sacred and it’s important that we do something to protect it. We must love the planet and protect it from ourselves.”
Last year also a group of 30 tourists made such an attempt and created sand art.
