Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government has signed an MoU with IBM to introduce Stem For Girls in 125 higher secondary schools of Khordha, Ganjam, Cuttack & Sambalpur districts. The programme aims to improve education-to-work & career pathways for girls in Government schools.
The partnership envisions advancing the skills & careers of 20,000 female & 10,000 male students in Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) education. It includes training in digital literacy, coding & tech skills for empowering girls & encouraging interest in STEM. IBM will advance skills & careers of 20000 female students in STEM fields and 10000 boys.
