Bhubaneswar : In a major development, during the Odisha Assembly monsoon session today, Odisha Municipal Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2021 has been introduced and which provides 50 percent reservation for the SC, ST and Backward classes.
Besides, the bill clearly states that the reservation for the backward classes will be within 27 percent and it wont exceed the limit.
