IDCO has deployed vehicles as JCB machines, tractors, and trucks for construction works hiring from local owners of these automobiles and engaging daily labour from seaside daily wagers. With the progress of this work, the JSW project starting has improved a pro-industry atmosphere has created in project site villages.
In turn five teams led by Erasama Tahasildar Choudhury Pranjananda Das and other revenue staff accompanied by police deployed at Dhinkia, Mahala, Patana and Govindapur villages for betel vines measurement and demolition on Wednesday.
Official reports informed that about 302 betel vines have been measured in Dhinkia Panchayat , from them 248 vines have been razed to earth and financial assistance Rs 4.34 Crore compensation has been awarded to as many as 180 betel vine-growers, informed Erasama Tahasildar. [Ends]
