Bhubaneswar: Odisha has got the maximum fund of Rs 5,933 crore from the Union Environment Ministry’s Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority (CAMPA).
Odisha is followed by Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh among the top 10 States. At a review meeting of State Forests Ministers in New Delhi on Saturday, Union Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar said his Government aims at utilising the CAMPA funds of Rs 47,000 crore for a green India.
