Bhubaneswar: Former BJD leader Damodar Rout is likely to join the BJP ahead of the elections. Rout, who visited New Delhi, on Sunday said he had a meeting with Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and some other senior BJP leaders. He would take some time before taking a decision on his joining the saffron party.
Former BJP MP and present Utkal Bharat president Kharabela Swain is also desirous of coming back to the BJP fold. He said he had a meeting with BJP Odisha in-charge Arun Singh a few days ago.
Swain also claimed that former Union Minister Braja Kishore Tripathy is willing to align with the BJP in the coming elections.
