Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik top political leaders of Odisha paid tributes to former Prime Minister late Atal Bihari Vajpayee at the all-party and public prayer meeting of at IDCO Exhibition Ground, Unit-III in Bhubaneswar of Friday.
Patnaik paid floral tributes to the late BJP stalwart in the memorial service. He also hailed the late charismatic leader for his contributions to the democracy in independent India.Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said, “Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a man of principle and an idealistic poet. His departure will always be remained a great loss for the Nation as well as for him.”
Leaders cutting across the party lines, Leader of Opposition Narasingha Mishra, OPCC President Niranjan Patnaik, minister Surjya Narayan Patro and Rajya Sabha MP Prasanna Acharya, Prasanna Patsani, Bhartruhari Mahtab and other BJP leaders including Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Jual Oram attended the programme this evening.
