Bhubaneswar: Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik inaugurates 27th edition of Indian Express “Technology Sabha. Speaking on the occasion, the Odisha CM said: “As the name suggests, the focus is on finding technology-driven solutions to our everyday issues, and making technology a way of life. Technologies are changing very fast from desktop to laptop to tablets to mobiles, and from Internet of Things to Internet of Everything. Keeping this in view, the IT Sector is at the top my Government’s agenda.

Odisha is a leading State in the field of e-Governance. A number of e-Governance initiatives have been taken up in areas such as land records, urban services, disaster management, education, policing, grievance redressal and other fields.

Odisha is the only State, which has redesigned governance processes by using IT and innovation, where a citizen need not visit any government office for availing services, unless mandated by law. People are the soul of democracy. The hallmark of good governance is citizen satisfaction. Our Five-T Mantra – Transparency. Technology, Teamwork and Time leading to Transformation remains the bedrock of good and responsive governance. In every sphere, we are aiming at using the best of technology.
