Bhubaneswar: More than 60% seats in engineering colleges across Odisha remain vacant. Out of 31,174 engineering seats in 93 colleges, 11,745 seats were filled in 2019-20 while remaining 19,429 are still lying vacant. This was informed by the Higher Education Minister adding that 3 colleges have applied for closure.
A total of 5950 beggars have been identified in #Odisha. Cuttack district tops the list with 1060 beggars followed by Ganjam(545), Sundergarh(423), Puri(366), Khurda(197), informs Minister Ashok Panda
