Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government’s AAHAAR initiative to provide affordable meals to needy in urban areas has received a major boost as CM Naveen Patnaik dedicated 38 new AAHAAR Kendras. Now covering all 114 ULBs of the state, 157 Kendras will ensure one lakh people are served every day.
Started in April 2015, AAHAAR has till date served 7.2 Cr cooked meals, powered by 65 vehicles and 2,000 dedicated personnel. CM Naveen Patnaik launched its web-portal where people will be able to donate & sponsor an AAHAAR Kendra for a day.
