Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik approves 108 Posts in Women & Child Development Department

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday approved 108 posts in the Department of Women and Child Development for improvement in the delivery system.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik announced creation of 93 posts for Programme Officers at CDPO, 13 posts of District Social Welfare Officers & 2 posts of Dy Director-cum-Dy Secretary for ICDS program. The addition will augment delivery system for women & child welfare in the state.

Announcing the news posts, Patnaik said, “The State Government attaches great importance to women and child welfare and the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) plays a key role in this regard.”

“The decision to create the additional posts was taken in view of reinforcing human resources both at the District and Sub-Divisional level for effective management of activities in convergence with various other Departments and for effective monitoring of the delivery of services,” The Odisha CM further stated.
