Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik addresses BJD Legislature party meeting, Party MLAs to submit report to CM on their activities

Bhubaneswar: CM Naveen Patnaik addressed BJD Legislature party meeting ahead of the winter session of the assembly on Wednesday.

Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik directs party MLAs to be punctual in attending Odisha Assembly proceedings. He says legislators who remain absent from the House for more than 2 days will have to take his permission.

The BJD MLAs would now submit bi-monthly report to CM on their activities. CM Naveen Patnaik asks his MLAs during the BJD legislature party meeting here. Earlier, BJD MPs were asked to submit such report.

If BJD MLAs need more than 2 days leave during the assembly session, would now have to get it approved from CM Naveen Patnaik. CM asks his MLAs (especially first-time members) to actively participate in the debates .
