Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister, BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik launches BJD membership drive at party’s headquarters in Bhubaneswar.
Naveen asks party leaders to focus on women, farmers & youths during the drive to be continued till Oct 31st. Naveen became the first member of the party during the ongoing drive, from Bhubaneswar-Ekamra constituency. BJD aims to double its number of members from the existing 47 lakh during the drive.
Addressing the gathering, Patnaik said, “All 4.5 crore people of Odisha are family of the BJD. The party has blessings of every individual from every village. Through this membership drive, we will meet all of them, including our farmer brothers. Their support will further strengthen the party.”
He was confident that the membership drive would be a grand success with the support of the people across the State.
The drive, which is being held both online and offline this time, will continue till October 31. Four active members from each ward, five from each NAC, 15 from each municipality and 40 from each municipal corporation will be engaged for enrolment of new cadres.
