Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday announced financial assistance of Rs 50 lakh for the families of the Sapanches if they die while combating Covid-19 in the gram panchayats.
Patnaik in a tweet said the Sarpanches are doing wonderful jobs at the grassroots level, particularly at the quarantine centres. Like others, they are in the frontline in the fight against Covid-19. Besides, all those people whether of the Government or private engaged at the Temporary Medical Camps would be also get the same amount.
