New Delhi: Odisha BJP leader Dr. Priya Brata Majhi urges Centre to set up veterinary Medical College and Hospital at Mayurbhanj. On this regard Dr. Majhi presented a memorandum to Dharmendra Pradhan Honourable Union Minister For Petroleum and Natural Gas, Skill development and entrepreneurship government of India.
Dr. Priya Brata Majhi demanded establishment of a 100 seated veterinary Medical College and Hospital at Mayurbhanj. Mayurbhanj has a huge livestock population and establishment of the College will not only be beneficial for the livestock population of North Odisha but also southern part of jharkhand and West Bengal.
With better Medical facility poor people can get better Medical support and can go for livestock farming and it can increase their income.
Honourable minister has requested honourable Radha Mohan Singh Minister of Agriculture government of India for taking the initiative for the establishment of veterinary Medical College and Hospital at Mayurbhanj.
