Bhubaneswar: Odisha government will present the interim budget for the year 2019-20 in the Assembly on February 7.
This will be the last budget of Naveen Patnaik-led BJD government in its fourth term. The Assembly will meet from February 4 to pass the Interim Budget, an official notification said.
According to the notification issued by the Parliamentary Affairs department, the session will have seven business days and will conclude on February 12.
On the first day of the session on February 4, Governor Ganeshi Lal will address the assembly. Finance Minister Sashi Bhusan Behera will present the interim budget on February 7, the notification added.
On February 8, the Appropriation Bill on the Vote on Account will be tabled in the Assembly.
