Bhadrak: The district administration has completely lifted the curfew from the town on Saturday. Full normalcy returned to the district headquarters town after 36 long days. However, the administration has kept vigil on the town in view of law and order situation.
It should be noted that police have so far arrested as many as 315 people involved in the communal violence out of which 266 accused have been sent to judicial custody after filing of chargesheet against them.
The curfew had been imposed at regular intervals after the unrest erupted over derogatory and offensive remarks against Hindu gods on social media in April.
