Angul: Last evening, the students of O.P. Jindal School, Angul mesmerized the audience while celebrating their 10th Annual Function ‘ Taarunyaam’ at their school premises. Mr. Pankaj Gautam,COO-Odisha Business of Jindal Steel and Power Ltd. (JSPL), lit the lamp as the Chief-Guest to mark the celebration and spoke high of the enthusiastic young scholars who presented their theatrical talent on the stage. Meritorious students of Std: X & XII of the school having splendid achievement records in CBSE Exam were given away with CBSE Merit Certificates on the stage by the Chief-Guest. Mrs. Pratibha Gautam, President of Jindal Mahila Samiti Angul, Mr. Alok Malhotra, VP-HR & ES, JSPL, Angul & Manager, School Management Committee along with other dignitaries were present on the occasion to witness the vibrant artistic performances packed with music, dance, drama and dialogues.
On this occasion the Chairperson of JSPL Foundation Smt. Shallu Jindal sent a note of congratulation to the students and school authorities for the Annual ceremony.
Mr. Chhanda Charan Das, Principal ceremoniously welcomed the eminent guests and dignitaries while presenting the Annual Report focusing on the overall infrastructural development of the school and versatile achievements of the learners. The 9th Annual Magazine ‘VOYAGE’ was also unveiled by the Chief Guest, followed by the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony. On this occasion, the Hon’ble Chief Guest & other dignitaries presented on dice handed over more than 400 prizes and trophies to the winning participants of the school.
The charm evening witnessed a convincing cultural programme ‘TAARUNYAM’.
